Part of the "Static" series. This series of paintings portrays the static of old television screens when the connection from the antenna was disrupted. Sometimes within the static there would be subtle information, "information" as such, is the ground of the painting. Thick string-like layers of oil paint are applied over the imagery to create and imply the depiction of interference static.
A brick wall simulation made from acrylic paint poured into a hand-made form. The form was created to simulate a brick wall, the grout between bricks was poured acrylic paint, allowed to dry between the brick forms which were glued to a plywood backing. Sculptural painting depicting the absence of a towing sign.
